History: Alarik’s player was a university freshman. Her family life was nonexistent, as was her social life. This girl young woman spent her entire life on education. Not that there was anything particularly horrible about her family, nor was her personality anything but polite – but one can only spend so long talking to a rock before one becomes bored. It wasn’t until she was stuck on the bus to her school in the middle of a gargantuan traffic jam that she heard about a new game that was supposed to be even better than real life.
Alarik’s player had no real problem with her life at the time, but when one stands for three hours on a bus amongst twenty-odd sweating, grouchy strangers, one does anything possible to gain some moment of distraction. The advertisements left quite an impression, and since it was nearing the beginning of summer, Alarik’s player decided to give it a go.
It became an addiction. She was able to reinvent herself in the game, become the strong, dependable person she’d always admired, and so when the game went viral, destroying reality to substitute itself, she had few complaints.
Without a reason to want reality back, she has decided to fight for those that wish the game to be real forever, but this conviction is not stable.

Personality:
Before - She was a loner. Polite enough, when someone addressed her, but she never put herself forward.
After - Still rather quiet, Alarik is much more friendly than her player. She doesn’t hesitate to step in when another needs help. She can be a little stiff, but all of the emotions she’d repressed as a player have resurfaced in Alarik. This can sometimes lead to outbursts of strong emotion, but she means no harm _usually.

Likes/Dislikes:
Fighting, flying, the game’s reality, sitting in the middle of a group and listening to others.
Embarrassment, physical contact (other than during fighting), having to talk too much (i.e. antying more than five words in one go).
